Deep Water Culture (DWC) is a hydroponic technique where cannabis roots are suspended in a highly oxygenated, nutrient-rich water solution. It is widely considered one of the fastest ways to grow heavy-yielding plants.

How DWC Works

In a standard DWC setup, the plant sits in a net pot filled with an inert medium like clay pebbles. The roots grow downward into a reservoir (typically a 5-gallon bucket) filled with water and nutrients. To prevent the roots from "drowning" or rotting, an air pump and airstones continuously bubble oxygen into the water.
